Example build · Knowledge assistant
Company brain
Knowledge is spread across Slack threads, Notion pages, Drive folders and the CRM, and finding anything means asking a colleague.
01What we build
- 01One assistant that searches every source and answers with citations
- 02Respects existing permissions: people only see what they already can
- 03Lives in Slack and the browser, where questions actually get asked
Connects to
Measured on
- Answer accuracy
- Citation coverage
- Weekly active users
- Time to answer
02How it works
From input to outcome, step by step.
- 01
Connect the sources
Slack, Notion, Drive, the CRM and other systems sync incrementally, so new and edited content becomes searchable quickly.
- 02
Mirror permissions
Each person's access in the source systems is applied to every search, so the assistant never reveals what they couldn't already open.
- 03
Answer with sources
Search combines keywords and meaning, and every answer links to the documents and threads it came from.
- 04
Close the gaps
Feedback and unanswered questions are tracked, showing exactly which documentation is missing or out of date.
03Questions
Before you ask.
01Can people see documents they shouldn't?
No. Results are filtered by each user's existing permissions in the source systems, so access stays exactly as it is today.
02How does it stay up to date?
Sources sync incrementally, so new and changed documents are reflected shortly after they're edited, and stale content can be flagged.
